Week Three Kid's Sewing Classes (Daily) July 16, 17 OR 18
Week Three Kid's Sewing Classes (Daily) July 16, 17 OR 18
Summer Sewing - please read all details. This is the individual DAY listing for week three. If you are unable or do not prefer signing up for all three days, you can put one or two days in your cart using this listing - the three days listing is offered separately. Or you can use this listing for multiple children to attend single days) Please send me a message if it says sold out and I will check availability and inform me of which day your student will be attending.
What will we be making:
In the very possible event that there are students from our first two weeks of summer sewing that would like to come back to keep practicing their sewing skills and sew even more projects together, we will be making three new projects!
The theme will be around the bamboo forests and pandas.
Day 1 - Linen Apron (with a bamboo/panda painted detail on the pocket)
Day 2 - Giant Panda Pillow (aka stuffie) 16-18 inches
Day 3 - Green and White striped cotton skirts for the girls (or shorts if our boys join the fun)
*sample photos will be added later this week
(class size max 6 students - ages 7-15)
6491 29th Ave N
*Pack lunch for a break in the day. Picnic outside to watch the chickens if weather allows. :)
July 16, 17, 18
9:30 am - 1:30 pm daily
The students will leave with completed projects each day and bonus projects when there is extra time. I try to send home as many pattern and instruction sheets as possible so that students can continue to make what they’ve learned time and time again.
All project fabric, zippers and other notions plus any patterns are included in the cost. The cost of the class is $100 daily but if you sign up for all three classes in one week, the cost is $90 per day.
I will need to know in advance if your student does not have a sewing machine to bring.
I have been sewing, pattern designing and creating with textiles for over 30 years. My company currently offers digital products like sewing education, sewing patterns as well as offering physical products. I have been teaching children and adults to sew for a while now and truly enjoy it. In doing this, I’ve worked with the Tampa Bay Homeschool Community and discovered that my classes have been successfully covered by Step up for Students PEP Program when my resume is submitted. I would email that to you if your family would benefit from the program.
If you would like to see more photos from other children’s sewing classes, they can be found on my instagram account @ma.ma.osa under the highlights.
